At the invitation of the Australian Labor Party (ALP), Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, led a delegation to visit Australia from December 15th to 18th, 2018. During the visit, he attended the 48th ALP National Conference, paid a courtesy call on Bill Shorten, leader of the ALP and major members of the Shadow Cabinet, met with Nick Greiner, President of Liberal Party, Simon Birmingham, Minister of the Federal Government and Steven Marshall, Premier of South Australia, exchanging views on pushing the development of China-Australia relations and other topics.
