Beijing, January 17th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today at noon with a study group of Sadrist Movement of Iraq headed by Abdulfattah Kadhim Taher Alzuabidi, Director of the Executive Party of Sadrist Movement.

Li introduced Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era in the light of China's achievements in the past 40 years of reform and opening-up, made positive comments on the relations between the two Parties and the two countries and expressed the CPC’s willingness to further deepen exchanges and cooperation with Sadrist Movement in various fields.

Kadhim expressed that the great achievements made by the CPC since it took office more 70 years ago, especially in the past 40 years since it has led the reform and opening up are admirable. Sadrist Movement is willing to further consolidate and develop its relations with the CPC to play a greater role in promoting Iraq-China relations.
