Urumqi, February 25th—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a cadre study group of Afghan political party, which was headed by Muhammad Amin Karim, Member of the Central Committee of the Hezb-i-Islami Afghanistan (HIA) and Senior Advisor to Afghanistan’s President.

Speaking positively of China-Afghanistan relations, Guo expressed that the CPC is willing to enhance dialogue and exchanges with various political parties of Afghanistan, so as to jointly promote China-Afghanistan relations for sustained, sound and stable development.

Karim said that Afghanistan-China traditional friendship has been deeply rooted in people’s hearts. Political parties in Afghanistan look forward to learning from the CPC’s in state governance and administration, in a bid to lead the Afghan people to achieve unity, stability and development.
