Li Jun Meets with Cadre Study Group of Latin American Left-wing Parties

Urumchi, February 25th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with a cadre study group of Latin American left-wing parties consisting of the Workers' Party, the Communist Party, and the Democratic Labour Party of Brazil, as well as the Communist Party of Argentina, the Communist Party of Peru (Unity) and the Communist Party of Peru (Red Fatherland).

Combining the achievements made in the 70 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China, Li introduced China's national and religious policies as well as mutual support and common development of all ethnic groups. He said that the CPC is willing to strengthen dialogue and exchanges with Latin American political parties to promote the development of China-Latin America relations.

Speaking positively of the CPC's efforts to promote national unity and improve people's well-being, the leaders of the three political parties expressed their willingness to deepen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC and promote social development and progress of their countries.
