Beijing, February 26th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with a delegation led by Carsten Linnemann, Deputy Chairman of the CDU/CSU Parliamentary Group in the German Bundestag.

Qian said that the CPC attaches importance to exchanges with the CDU/CSU, hopes to focus on the future development of China-Germany relations, further strengthen exchanges between the two Parties at all levels and consolidate and deepen bilateral institutional dialogue.

Linnemann expressed willingness to actively participate in the promotion of exchanges and cooperation between the two Parties, stressing the importance of strengthening exchanges between young politicians of both sides in deepening future exchanges between the two Parties.
