Li Jun Meets with Delegation Headed by Ahmed Mohammed Adam Eltejanm

Beijing, February 28th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with a cadre study group headed by Ahmed Mohammed Adam Eltejanm, Member of Political Department of the National Congress Party (NCP) and Deputy Speaker of The National Assembly of Republic of Sudan.

Speaking positively of China-Sudan relations and relations between the CPC and the NCP, Li said that party-to-party exchanges have played a vital role in promoting the in-depth development of bilateral relations and in improving the level of bilateral cooperation. Sudan is a major country in North Africa, and its stability and development is of great significance for the prosperity and stability of the whole region. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of China-Sudan diplomatic relations, the CPC is willing to, together with the NCP, further deepen exchanges of experience in party governance and state administration to push the development of relations between the two countries.

Eltejanm sincerely admires China’s great achievements in promoting national unity and maintaining social stability. The NCP attaches high importance to developing its relations with China and stands ready to further learn from the CPC’s experience in state governance and administration, and enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields, so as to jointly benefit the two peoples.
