Beijing, March 6th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with a cadre study group of National League for Democracy (NLD), which was headed by U Soe Win, Member of the NLD Central Committee and Member of the NLD Central Economic Committee.

Speaking positively of the relations between the two countries and the two Parties, Li expressed that the CPC is willing to deepen friendly cooperation with the NLD, so as to create sound conditions for China and Myanmar to jointly build the Belt and Road Initiative and advance cooperation in various fields.

U Soe Win said that the Belt and Road Initiative has brought huge opportunity for the development of Myanmar. The NLD stands ready to enhance exchanges and cooperation with the CPC to jointly promote the building of the Belt and Road Initiative for fruitful outcomes.
