President of Burkina Faso Meets with Guo Yezhou

Wagadugu, March 7th--Roch Marc Christian Kabore, President of Burkina Faso, met here today with a CPC delegation led by Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.

Kabore said that Burkina Faso firmly adheres to the one-China principle and is willing to learn from the development philosophy of the CPC, enhance political mutual trust between the two countries, steadily advance pragmatic cooperation and bring tangible benefits to the two peoples.

Guo said that China is ready to work with Burkina Faso to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state and the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation to promote the sustained and sound development of bilateral relations.

During his stay in Burkina Faso, Guo also met with Alassane Bala Sakandé, Presidents of the National Assembly of Burkina Faso, and held talks with Simon Compaoré, President of the People's Movement for Progress of Burkina Faso.
