Beijing, March 18th—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with the friendly personages study group of political parties from western Pakistan headed by Amanullah Khan, Governor of Balochistan.

Guo said that China and Pakistan are good friends, good neighbors, good partners and good brothers. Bilateral cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative has yielded positive results and brought tangible benefits to the two peoples. China is ready to strengthen friendly exchanges with political parties from western Pakistan and push forward the constant development of the all-weather strategic cooperative partnership between China and Pakistan.

Amanullah Khan said that political parties in western Pakistan share a high degree of consensus on developing friendly relations with the CPC and hope to further deepen the exchanges between political parties of the two countries and promote the construction of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CEPC).

Both sides also exchanged views on jointly well holding the 1st meeting of the CPEC Political Parties Joint Consultation Mechanism.
