Song Tao Holds Talks with Head of the LPRP Central Committee's Commission for External Relations.

Beijing, April 1st—Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held talks here today with Sounthone Xayachack, Head of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee's Commission for External Relations.

Song spoke highly of the friendly cooperation between the International Department of the CPC Central Committee and the LPRP Central Committee's Commission for External Relations, and expressed the hope that the two departments will continue to carry forward the fine tradition of sincere cooperation and close coordination, blaze new trails in a pioneering spirit and advance with the times to make greater efforts to build a community of shared future between China and Laos.

Sounthone fully agreed with Song's positive comments on the sound relations between the LPRP Central Committee's Commission for External Relations and the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, saying that the LPRP Central Committee's Commission for External Relations will further intensify exchanges and cooperation with the International Department of the CPC Central Committee to jointly promote new progress in the relations between the CPC and the LPRP as well as between both countries.

Song and Sounthone also exchanged in-depth views on further strengthening inter-party exchanges between China and Laos.

Wang Yajun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended the talks.
