From April 3rd to 5th, at the invitation of Fidesz-Hungarian Civic Union, Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, led a CPC delegation and visited Hungary. Qian met respectively with Matrai Marta, Executive Vice Chairman of the Hungarian National Assembly and President of Hungary-China Parliamentary Group; Németh Zsolt, Chairman of Fidesz’s Foreign Affairs Committee and Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of Hungarian National Assembly; and Tamás Menczer, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Qian also communicated with principals of grass-roots organizations of Fidesz. Both sides exchanged in-depth views on enhancing exchanges between the ruling parties of China and Hungary, promoting China-Hungary comprehensive strategic partnership and other topics.
