From April 6th to 9th, Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, led a CPC delegation to visit Russia. Qian met respectively with Vladimir Pligin, Member of the Supreme Council of the United Russia; Gennady Zyuganov, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation; Vladimir Zhirinovsky, Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia; and Sergei Mironov, Chairman of A Just Russia party. They had in-depth exchanges of views on strengthening China-Russia inter-party exchanges, deepening practical cooperation, promoting China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination and other topics.
