Wang Yajun Attends the 4th Training Class for Lao Leading Cadres and the Celebration of Songkran Festival Held by Lao Embassy in China

Beijing, April 11th—Wang Yajun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended the 4th Training Class for Lao Leading Cadres and the celebration of Songkran Festival held by the Lao Embassy in China. Wang sent his new year wishes to the cadres from Laos and stated that under the guidance and efforts of the top leaders of the two Parties and the two countries, China and Laos have made significant progress in building a China-Laos community with a shared future, which fully illustrates the uniqueness and importance of China-Laos relations. The exchanges between the two Parties are a significant part in China-Laos relations. Therefore, the two Parties should communicate and cooperate with each other closely, and innovate ways to communicate, so as to play a more important role in the development of the China-Laos relations and write a new chapter of the China-Laos friendship.

Vandy Bouthasavong, Lao Ambassador to China, showed her gratitude to the International Department of the CPC Central Committee for hosting this activity, saying that the Lao side is willing to work with China, to promote the construction of Laos-China community with a shared future for greater new success.

Attendees from China and Laos also held a traditional Lao ceremony of Baci-Su-Kwan and staged an art performance.
