Guo Yezhou Meets with President of the New Zealand National Party

Beijing, April 23rd—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Peter Goodfellow, President of the New Zealand National Party.

Guo made positive comments on China-New Zealand relations and the exchanges between the two Parties, saying that China is willing to deepen exchanges and cooperation with New Zealand, learn from each other's experience in state governance, strengthen pragmatic cooperation under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, further push in-depth development of China-New Zealand relations and bring more benefits to the two peoples.

Goodfellow said that New Zealand attaches great importance to developing relations with China and stands ready to continue to deepen exchanges with the CPC, actively participate in co-building the Belt and Road Initiative and push New Zealand cooperation for more achievements.
