Beijing, April 26th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with Guevara, deputy secretary general of the Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front (FMLN) of El Salvador.

Li made positive comments on relations between the two countries and the two Parties, saying that the CPC is willing to continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation at all levels with the FMLN, build a new type of political party relations featuring seeking common ground while shelving differences, mutual respect and mutual learning, push forward practical cooperation in various fields and promote the healthy and stable development of state-to-state relations.

Guevara expressed that the FMLN is willing to learn from the experience and practices of the CPC in developing economy and strengthening party building, and also stands ready to make more contributions to consolidating the development of El Salvador-China relations.
