Li Jun Meets with Belt and Road Business Delegation

Beijing, April 25th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with a Belt and Road delegation headed by James Meyer Sassoon, Chairman of the China-Britain Business Council.

Li welcomed the business delegation to visit China and attend the thematic forum on people-to-people connectivity of the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. He said that Belt and Road international cooperation has become the most extensive and fruitful platform for all countries and international organizations in the world. We hope that the elites in the business community will actively offer suggestions, promote people-to-people connectivity, discuss cooperation on people's livelihood, and create a better life together.

Foreign representatives spoke highly of the thematic forum on people-to-people connectivity held by the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, and expressed their willingness to contribute to enhancing people-to-people connectivity and jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative.
