Wang Yajun Meets with President of the 21st Century South Korea-China Exchange Association

Beijing, April 24th—Wang Yajun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Kim Han-kyu, President of the 21st Century South Korea-China Exchange Association.

Wang spoke highly of the achievements bilateral relations have made since the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and the Republic of Korea (ROK), and welcomed Kim’s attendance at the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation and the thematic forum on people-to-people connectivity.  Wang expressed that the Belt and Road Initiative has become a popular platform for the international cooperation. All relevant countries, including the ROK, are welcome to actively participate in the Belt and Road construction.

Kim spoke highly of the significance of the Belt and Road Initiative for global and regional cooperation, saying that as a non-governmental organization for friendship between the two countries, the 21st Century South Korea-China Exchange Association is willing to play a positive role in developing the friendly relations between the two countries and boosting the Belt and Road construction.
