The 28th Wanshou Forum Themed the Belt and Road Initiative: New Type of Globalization and Global Governance Held in Beijing

Beijing, April 27th—the 28th Wanshou Forum, co-organized by the International Department of the CPC Central Committee and Tsinghua University, was held here. The forum, under the theme the Belt and Road Initiative: New Type of Globalization and Global Governance, attracted political heavyweights, experts, scholars and business leaders from Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe and America. They had in-depth exchanges around the theme of the forum. Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee and Chen Xu, Party Secretary of Tsinghua University, attended and addressed the forum.

Foreign delegates attending the Wanshou Forum spoke highly of the Belt and Road Initiative. It is widely believed that the Belt and Road Initiative has promoted economic globalization towards a more open, inclusive, universally beneficial, balanced and win-win direction, and contributed China's wisdom and plan to solving the "four major deficits" of peace, development, governance and trust and building a better world.
