Beijing, May 13th—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Johannes Peterlik, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Austria.

Guo said that China-Austria relations have been developing well in recent years with exchanges and cooperation in various fields continuously strengthened. China is willing to make joint efforts with Austria to continuously deepen bilateral friendly strategic partnership.

Peterlik said that Austria attaches great importance to relations with China and bilateral pragmatic cooperation and is willing to actively participate in the Belt and Road Initiative.
