Wang Yajun Meets with SPLM Cadre Study Group of South Sudan

Beijing, May 15th—Wang Yajun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today at noon with a cadre study group of Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) of South Sudan. The study group was headed by Joseph Ngere Paciko, Member of the SPLM National Liberation Council, SPLM Chairman in Amadi State and Governor of Amadi State of South Sudan.

Combining with the CPC’s ruling achievements and experience over the past 70 years, Wang introduced Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Speaking positively of China-South Sudan relations, Wang expressed that the CPC firmly supports the peace process in South Sudan, and is willing to, together with the South Sudanese people, give play to the political guiding role of exchanges between ruling parties in relations between the two countries, deepen experience exchanges in party governance and state administration, and promote cooperation between the two countries in various fields, so as to benefit the two peoples.

Ngere expressed that the great achievements the CPC has made over the past 70 years since its governance, especially over the past 40 years since China’s reform and opening up, are admirable. The CPC’s advanced experience in party governance and state administration is worthy of in-depth learning for the SPLM. The SPLM stands ready to further consolidate relations between the two Parties and play a greater role in promoting relations between the two countries.
