Beijing, May 22nd—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with the 3rd joint study group of Vanuatu parliament and government. The group was headed by Jean Nirua, First Vice President of the Reunification of Movement for Change and Minister of Education of Vanuatu.

Guo made positive comments on China-Vanuatu relations, saying that the CPC is willing to maintain friendly exchanges with the political parties of Vanuatu, promote cooperation in various fields and push for in-depth development of China-Vanuatu comprehensive strategic partnership.

Nirua noted that Vanuatu thanks for China's long-term support and assistance and will continue to firmly pursue the one-China policy. The political parties of Vanuatu are willing to continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC and push relations between both countries to a new level.
