Kabul, May 21st--Abdullah Abdullah, Chairman of the National Coalition of Afghanistan and Chief Executive Officer of Afghanistan, met here today with the CPC delegation led by Wang Yajun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.
Wang said that the CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges with Afghan political parties and push for continuous development of China-Afghanistan relations. Abdullah said that the Afghan government and political parties look forward to expanding pragmatic cooperation between the two countries to bring more benefits to the Afghan people.
During his stay in Afghanistan, Wang met with Mohammad Sarwar Danish, Second Vice President of Afghanistan; Salahuddin Rabbani, Foreign Minister of Afghanistan; and Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, former Prime Minister of Afghanistan, and attended the signing ceremony of material donation between China Foundation for Peace and Development and Afghanistan Red Crescent Society.
