Beijing, July 4th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation led by Lars Klingbeil, General Secretary of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD).

Qian made positive comments on the traditional friendly relations between the CPC and the SPD, saying that the CPC hopes to continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the SPD, further strengthen exchanges at all levels and consolidate and deepen all kinds of institutional dialogues.

Klingbeil said that the SPD attaches great importance to inter-party relations with the CPC, and is willing to further strengthen exchanges between young politicians of the two Parties under the new situation and conduct dialogue on digital economy, artificial intelligence and other future fields.
