Beijing, July 10th—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Niels Annen, Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.

Guo said that China-Germany all-around strategic partnership has made great progress in recent years, and the breadth and the depth of bilateral cooperation have reached an unprecedented level. Under the new circumstances, China and Germany should further deepen bilateral practical cooperation and intensify communication and coordination on international and regional hotspot issues.

Annen noted that Germany values cooperation with China, appreciates China’s increasingly important role in the international arena, and stands ready to actively promote the development of Europe-China relations in the European Union.
