Song said that President Xi Jinping and President Ilham Aliyev have jointly led China-Azerbaijan relations to turn a new page and present a new atmosphere. Cooperation between the two Parties plays an irreplaceable and important role in relations between the two countries. The CPC is willing to, on the basis of the cooperation achievements of the past 20 years, work with the New Azerbaijan Party to enhance high-level exchanges, enrich cooperation content, enhance mutual learning and promote pragmatic cooperation in various fields under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative and push for new development of China-Azerbaijan relations.

Ahmadov noted that the New Azerbaijan Party is ready to take the opportunity of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of party-to-party relations to further deepen friendly exchanges and cooperation with the CPC. The Azerbaijani side spoke highly of China's great development achievements under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and hoped to draw on the successful experience of the CPC in an in-depth manner  and promote more outcomes from  cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative  through inter-party channels.
