Beijing, July 30th—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with the study group of Italian Parliament Association "Friends of China" headed by Mauro Marino, Vice Chairman of the Budget Committee of Italian Senate.

Guo made positive comments on the positive role played by the Italian Parliament Association "Friends of China" in promoting China-Italy friendship over the years and hoped to continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation and jointly push for better development of China-Italy relations.

Marino said that the Italian Parliament Association "Friends of China" will continue to make efforts to enhance mutual understanding between the two countries and make positive contributions to promoting the friendship between Italy and China.
