Huang Kunming Meets with Non-partisan Delegation of Young Japanese Politicians

Beijing, August 19th—Huang Kunming, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a non-partisan delegation of young Japanese politicians headed by Kiyohiko Toyama, Acting Chief General and Chairman of International Commission of the Komeito Party.

Huang said that during their recent meeting in Osaka, President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Shinzo Abe reached a ten-point consensus on jointly promoting the healthy development of China-Japan relations, which has charted the course for bilateral relations. It is hoped that the political parties of the two countries will implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, strengthen communication on concepts and policies, deepen exchanges and cooperation and jointly push forward China-Japan relations for constant development.

Kiyohiko Toyama said that the Japanese political parties spoke highly of the great development achievements made by the Chinese people under the leadership of the CPC and expressed willingness to strengthen inter-party exchanges, and promote friendly cooperation between both countries to bring benefits to the two countries and the two peoples.
