Beijing, August 7th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, exchanged views here with Emanuele Fiano, Member of the Secretariat, Head of the International Department of the Democratic Party of Ital, via videolink.

Qian spoke positively of China-Italy relations and cooperation between the two countries in the fight against the epidemic, and said that the CPC is willing to develop the traditional friendly relations with the PD, and enhance mutual understanding and mutual trust, so as to push China-Italy comprehensive strategic partnership for greater development.

Fiano highly praised China for unequivocally supporting multilateralism and actively carrying out anti-epidemic cooperation, adding that the PD is willing to further intensify exchanges and cooperation between the two Parties to play an active role for the development of Italy-China relations and Europe-China relations.
