Beijing, November 18th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a video conference here today with Dmitry Novikov, Deputy Chairman of the Central Committee of the CPRF, briefing on the spirit of the fifth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee.

Qian gave an in-depth introduction to the significance of the fifth plenary session and the important results. He emphasized, China has entered a new stage of development, implemented new development concepts, accelerated the building of a new development paradigm, and implemented high-level opening-up to the outside world, which will certainly provide new major opportunities for deepening the all-round cooperation between China and Russia. The CPC is willing to strengthen institutionalized friendly exchanges with the CPRF and make greater contributions to the development of China-Russia relations in the new era.

Novikov praised the great development achievements made by the Chinese people under the leadership of the CPC. He spoke highly of the major achievements of the fifth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, and believed that the grand blueprint and the development goals established at the plenary session will be fully realized. The CPRF is willing to learn from the CPC's experience in state governance and administration, so as to actively contribute to the development of Russia-China relations.
