Beijing, February 25th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a video call here today with Hans-Peter Friedrich, Vice-President of the German Bundestag and Chairman of the China-Bridge Association.

Speaking positively of the relations between the two countries, Qian said that China-Germany relations have maintained a high-level development during the pandemic. The CPC is willing to continue to deepen friendly exchanges with the Alliance for Germany, strengthen exchanges of experience in state governance, and make positive contributions to the development of China-Germany relations in the new era and bilateral cooperation in various fields.

Friedrich congratulated on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and China's overall victory in poverty alleviation. He said that the Alliance for Germany and the China-Bridge Association are willing to further intensify dialogue and exchanges with China and jointly promote the development of Germany-China and European Union-China relations.
