Beijing, March 8—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a video call here today with Juergen Trittin, Former Leader of the German Green Party and Member of the German Bundestag.

Speaking positively of the relations between the two parties and the two countries, Qian said that the CPC is willing to deepen exchanges with the German Green Party in the spirit of seeking common ground while shelving differences, mutual respect, and mutual learning, and make positive contributions to the development of the China-Germany all-round strategic partnership.

Trittin said that the German Green Party attaches great importance to the relations with China. The German Green Party is willing to enhance dialogue and communication between the two parties and play a positive role in advancing the Germany-China and European Union-China practical cooperation.
