Chen Zhou Holds a Video Call With Tiong King Sing, Chairman of Progressive Democratic Party of Malaysia and Special Envoy of the Malaysian Prime Minister to China

Beijing, May 11th—Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a video call here today on the morning with Tiong King Sing, Chairman of the Progressive Democratic Party of Malaysia and Special Envoy of the Malaysian Prime Minister to China.

Chen made positive comments on China-Malaysia relations, saying that the CPC is willing to deepen experience exchanges and mutual learning in party governance and state administration with the Progressive Democratic Party of Malaysia, and actively promote pragmatic cooperation between the two countries in various fields through the cooperation model of "political parties plus", so as to lead bilateral relations to better development in the post-epidemic period.

Tiong congratulated China on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC. Tiong said that the Progressive Democratic Party of Malaysia is willing to strength communication and cooperation between the Progressive Democratic Party of Malaysia and the CPC, and promote the two countries to achieve more cooperation results in agriculture, education, health care through inter-party channels, so as to better benefit the two peoples.

Both sides also had an in-depth exchange of views on the South China Sea issue and other affairs.
