Beijing, October 12th—Zhu Rui, Assistant Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended here today a dialogue for Chinese and Yemeni political parties and the opening ceremony of webinar for cadres of political parties of Yemen and delivered a speech. About 20 people were present, including leaders and representatives of party members of General People's Congress (GPC) of Yemen, the Islamic Gathering for Reform, the Yemen Socialist Party, the Nasserist Popular Unity Organization, and The Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party.

Zhu spoke positively of the traditional friendship between China and Yemen, particularly the friendly relations between the political parties of both sides, and thanked the political parties of Yemen for resolutely supporting the Chinese side on issues related to Hong Kong, Xinjiang, and the origin tracing of the COVID-19. He said, the dialogue for political parties coincides with the centenary of the CPC, and the 65th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between China and Yemen, which will be conducive to further integrating the wisdom and power of political parties, enhancing political mutual trust, exchanges in vision and friendship between the two peoples, as well as promoting the continuous development of relations between the two countries. Zhu also mainly introduced the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind, and whole-process people’s democracy.

Faiqa, Deputy General Secretary of Yemeni General People's Congress and other leaders of political parties warmly congratulated the CPC on its centenary, hailed the CPC as the torch and lighthouse of all political parties of the world, and thanked the Chinese side’s long-term support and assistance for Yemen. They stressed that all the political parties in Yemen cherish the traditional friendship with the CPC, and is willing to take the dialogue as an platform to further strengthen inter-party exchanges and cooperation, and learn state governance and administration from the CPC, so as to make greater contributions to the relations between our two countries.
