Beijing, November 26th—International Department of the CPC Central Committeeand the government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China co-hosted a webinar here today on “Xinjiang is a Wonderland”. Shen Beili, Vice-minister of International Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended and addressed the meeting. Ilzat Ahmatijan, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Regional Committee and Chairman of Federation of Trade Unions in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, and Abdureqip Tomurniyaz, president of the Xinjiang Islamic Association, attended the webinar in Urumqi. Mehmet Adnan Akfirat, chairman of Turkish-Chinese Business Development and Friendship Association, Victor Cadena, vice president of Mexican Chamber of Commerce in China and over 80 representatives from more than 50 foreign chambers of commerce, associations and enterprises in China attended the conference online.

Shen said, the CPC stays true to the original aspiration and mission of seeking happiness for the Chinese people and realizing the rejuvenation of the nation, uniting and leading all the Chinese people to create tremendous miracles of development. Xinjiang’s development is an epitome of China’s development. Some Western countries and a few international anti-China forces created various lies to hype up Xinjiang-related issues and denigrate China on its Xinjiang policy, aiming to disrupt the stable development of Xinjiang and interfere in China’s internal affairs, but their plans will never succeed. Shen Beili said that Xinjiang enjoys distinct geographical advantages in opening-up. Therefore, she expected business circles of foreign countries to seize the opportunity to actively explore cooperation, thus achieving mutual benefit and win-win results.

Ilzat Ahmatijan noted that under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee, Xinjiang has made unprecedented achievements in economic and social development and improvement of people’s livelihood. Xinjiang’s actions are aboveboard, and are for the benefit of the people from all ethnic groups in Xinjiang. No force can stop the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang from pursuing a better life, and no attempt or deed that undermines the prosperity and development of Xinjiang can succeed. Xinjiang’s tomorrow will be even better!

People at the community-level and business representatives from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region shared their stories on how Xinjiang promoted ethnic unity and led people to a good life, and interacted with the guests.

The foreign guests said this webinar vividly demonstrated the real situation in Xinjiang with rich materials, allowing everyone to see Xinjiang’s great achievements in maintaining national unity and promoting high-quality development under the leadership of CPC. They were deeply impressed by Xinjiang’s efforts of maintaining social stability and continuously expanding its approaches to opening-up. They will actively cooperate with Xinjiang and use various opportunities to introduce a real Xinjiang to a wider audience.
