Beijing, December 6th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a video call here today on the afternoon with Jānis Urbanovičs, Chairman of Social Democratic Party "Harmony" of Latvia.

Qian highlighted the spirit of the sixth plenary session of 19th CPC Central Committee, saying that the CPC is willing to work with Social Democratic Party "Harmony" to deepen exchanges and cooperation between the two Parties and take the high-quality development of the Belt and Road cooperation as an opportunity to push China-Latvia cooperation and cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries for more results.

Urbanovičs pointed out that Social Democratic Party "Harmony" and the CPC enjoy broad prospects for cooperation. Social Democratic Party "Harmony" is willing to further strengthen exchanges between the two Parties and jointly push forward China-Latvia cooperation in all respects, so as to make positive contributions to the steady and healthy development of China-European Union relations.
