Beijing, April 26th—Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, had a video call here today with Mohamad Hasan, Deputy Chairman of the United Malays National Organization (UMNO) of Malaysia.

Chen spoke positively of relations between China and Malaysia and relations between the two Parties. He said that the CPC is willing to, together with the UMNO, further strengthen friendly cooperation on all fronts, jointly push China-Malaysia comprehensive strategic partnership to a new level, safeguard regional peace and stability, and cope with global challenges.

Hasan said, China is Malaysia’s good neighbor and good friend. The UMNO cherishes the long-standing friendship between the two Parties, and is willing to continue to deepen exchanges at all levels and cooperation in various areas between both sides, so as to contribute to strengthening the traditional friendship between our two countries, jointly accelerating economic recovery and boosting regional peace and prosperity.
