Qian welcomed Stefanovic on her assumption of the new post in China, and spoke positively of the relations between the two countries and inter-party exchanges. He said, the CPC is willing to strengthen communication and cooperation with major political parties of Serbia to jointly promote China-Serbia relations for constant and in-depth development. Qian briefed the Serbian side on the fourth volume of "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China", and introduced the great significance of the 20th CPC National Congress to be held in the second half of the year.

Stefanovic wished the 20th CPC National Congress a success, and spoke highly of the huge achievements of China’s economic and social development. She said the Serbian side is willing to deepen cooperation in all fields through inter-party channels, implement the important consensus of the two heads of state, and push Serbia-China comprehensive strategic partnership to new levels.
