Zhu Rui Meets with the Delegation of Yemen Renaissance Movement

Beijing, March 28th—Zhu Rui, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with the Delegation of the Yemen Renaissance Movement led by Ali Al-Bakali, President of the Yemen Renaissance Movement.

Zhu mainly introduced the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, the theory of a Chinese path to modernization, and the spirit of the Global Civilization Initiative. He stated that the CPC is willing to work with the Yemen Renaissance Movement to carry on the traditional friendship between China and Yemen, firmly support each other, strengthen exchanges and cooperation, deepen ideological exchanges, and jointly implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, promoting the long-term and stable development of China-Yemen friendly relations.

Bakali said, General Secretary Xi Jinping's Global Civilization Initiative, along with the previously Belt and Road Initiative, the Global Development Initiative, and the Global Security Initiative, all reflect China's values of peaceful coexistence, communication, mutual learning, mutual benefit and win-win results. The Yemeni side sincerely appreciates and welcomes these initiatives. The Yemen Renaissance Movement hopes to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with the CPC on party building and state governance, deepen cooperation in various fields, and jointly promote the in-depth development of relations between the two countries.
