The CPC Delegation Visits Japan, Cambodia, and Mongolia

At the invitation of New Komeito Party of Japan, Cambodian People's Party (CPP), and the Mongolian People's Party (MPP), Shu Qiming, former Deputy Secretary-General of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, led a CPC delegation to visit the three countries from March 22nd to 31st.

In Japan, the delegation met with leaders from both ruling and opposition parties, including Yuko Obuchi, Chairwoman of Party Organization and Campaign Headquaters of Liberal Democratic Party of Japan and Chief Secretary of Japan-China Parliamentarians' Union, Makoto Nishida, Chairman of General Assembly of Party Members of the House of Councillors of New Komeito Party of Japan, and officials from the Osaka Prefectural Assembly. The delegation also held discussions and exchanges with representatives from the seven Japan-China friendship groups and the economic sector in the Kansai region.

In Cambodia, the delegation held a special briefing on the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress for various sectors in Cambodia. They met with leaders from both ruling and opposition parties, including Khuon Sudary, Member of the Standing Committee of the Cambodian People's Party and Second Vice-President of the National Assembly of Cambodia, and Norodom Chakravuth, President of FUNCINPEC Party, as well as officials from Sihanoukville.

In Mongolia, the delegation held a special briefing on the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress for various sectors in Mongolia. They met with leaders from both ruling and opposition parties, including D. Amarbayasgalan, General secretary of the Mongolian People's Party and Chief Cabinet Secretary of Mongolia, and M. Enkhsaikhan, Head of the Political Advisory Council of the Democratic Party and former Prime Minister of Mongolia.

People from various sectors in the three countries showed keen interest in China's future development prospects and spoke highly of China's contributions to maintaining world peace and promoting common development. They hoped to strengthen face-to-face exchanges and deepen practical cooperation with the Chinese side, pushing bilateral relations to further development.
