Guo Yezhou Attends a Two-way Investment Salon between Zhejiang Province and Denmark

On June 30th, a two-way investment salon between Zhejiang Province and Denmark themed on "green development and common development" was held both online and offline. Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, Xu Wenguang, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Executive Deputy Governor of Zhejiang Province, Tomas Anker Christensen, Ambassador for Climate Change of Denmark, Thomas Ostrup Moller, Ambassador of Denmark to China and others attended and addressed the function. About 120 participants were present, including those from relevant departments of the government of Zhejiang and representatives from both enterprises of China and Denmark. Guo introduced China's relevant policies and measures to promote Chinese modernization with high-quality development and promote common prosperity of the Chinese people. He emphasized that Chinese modernization will bring more opportunities to China-Denmark mutually beneficial and practical cooperation. The Chinese side is willing to work with the Danish side to adhere to mutual respect to be partners of understanding and trust; adhere to mutual benefit and win-win results to be partners for common development; stay committed to green upgrading to be partners in building a clean and beautiful world, and to jointly promote global development that is stronger, greener, healthier. The Danish side spoke positively of China's outstanding achievements in promoting green development and common prosperity, and emphasized that Denmark and China have great potential for cooperation in propelling green upgrading and achieving carbon neutrality. The Danish side is willing to work with the Chinese side to strengthen practical cooperation in such areas as clean energy and life sciences, deepen exchanges and mutual learning with Zhejiang, and achieve mutual benefit, win-win results and common development.
