A CPC Delegation Attends Meetings of the Youth Wing and Women’s Wing of ICAPP and Visits Mongolian

From August 4th to August 8th, Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, led a CPC delegation to attend the 6th Meeting of the Youth Wing of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) and the 7th Meeting of the ICAPP Women’s Wing and visit Mongolia at the invitation of the ICAPP and the Mongolian People's Party (MPP). He met with political heavyweights such as Gombojav Zandanshatar, Chairman of the Parliament of Mongolia, Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve, MPP Secretary General, Chief Cabinet Secretary, and Luvsannyam Gantumur, Chairman of the Democratic Party of Mongolia, extensively met with representatives of political parties present at the meetings, and introduced Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era. He stressed efforts to guide and deepen cooperation between our two countries in various areas through the building of a China-Mongolia community with a shared future, as well as boost the prosperity and development of Asia through the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

The foreign side spoke highly of China's important contributions to the peaceful development of Asia, supported the three major global initiatives proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping, and looked forward to intensifying exchanges, strengthening exchanges and mutual learning, and deepening practical cooperation with the CPC. The Mongolian side expressed the willingness to work with the Chinese side to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, deepen the docking of development strategies, jointly build the BRI, strengthen multilateral cooperation, and jointly draw a beautiful development picture in Asia.

Guo also attended the handover ceremony of the Mongolian youth cancer early screening center aided by the China Foundation for Peace and Development and other activities.
