In February this year, President Xi Jinping and visiting President Ebrahim Raisi reached important consensus on further deepening China-Iran comprehensive strategic partnership, charting the course for the development of bilateral relations. The CPC maintains friendly exchanges with Iranian political parties and political organizations, and is willing to further deepen exchanges and cooperation and promote the development of relations between the two countries. The Chinese side is willing to strengthen coordination and cooperation with the Iranian side in multilateral institutions such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization to promote regional and world peace and development.

Bakhtiar said, the friendly exchanges between Iran and China have a long history. Iran regards China as a true friend. President Ebrahim Raisi and President Xi Jinping had a successful meeting at the beginning of this year, which injected strong impetus into the development of bilateral relations. The Iranian side is willing to work with the Chinese side to implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state and deepen cooperation in such areas as the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative. Iranian political parties and political organizations attach importance to the communication channels established with the CPC, hoping to strengthen exchanges with the CPC to promote greater development of relations between the two countries. The Iranian side is willing to strengthen cooperation with the Chinese side in international and regional affairs and jointly safeguard international fairness and justice.
