Liu welcomed Hammadi on his assumption of the new post in China, and said that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China-UAE relations have entered a "golden age" featuring comprehensive, rapid and in-depth development. The Chinese side is willing to work with the UAE side to implement the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, intensify high-level exchanges, deepen civilization exchanges and mutual learning of experience exchange in state governance and administration, strengthen cooperation in areas such as the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, and be the partners on our way to modernization. The Chinese side is willing to, together with the UAE side, strengthen communication and coordination in international and regional affairs, promote the implementation of the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative and the Global Civilization Initiative, and jointly stay committed to building a community with a shared future for mankind.

Hammadi said, the UAE and China share a traditional friendship. The UAE side speaks highly of China's economic development miracles in recent years. The UAE attaches great importance to developing relations with China. President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan cherishes the mutual trust and friendship with President Xi Jinping. The UAE side will continue to enhance high-level exchanges with the Chinese side, deepen the integration of development strategies, expand cooperation in economy, trade, people-to-people and cultural engagement, education, tourism, aviation, new energy, and climate change, and strengthen coordination and cooperation in multilateral affairs, so as to promote greater development of bilateral relations.
