Sun Haiyan Meets with a Delegation of Multiple Parties of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Beijing, October 19th—Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation comprised of multiple parties which was led by Marinko Cavara, member of Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sun spoke positively the relations and inter-party exchanges between China and Bosnia and Herzegovina. She said, the CPC is willing to further enhance friendly exchanges with political parties of Bosnia and Herzegovina, enhance mutual understanding and support, and deepen pragmatic cooperation within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, so as to bring more benefits to the people of both countries. Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina spoke highly of President Xi Jinping's keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. They expressed the willingness to actively participate in the high-quality construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, continuously deepen cooperation in various fields between the two countries, and better benefit the two peoples.
