Li Mingxiang Meets with a Delegation of Rassemblement National des Independants of Morocco

Beijing, February 22nd—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation from Morocco led by Hassan Benomar, member of the political bureau of Rassemblement National des Independants (RNI) and deputy speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives.   

Li spoke positively of China-Morocco relations, and introduced the concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind based on the spirit of the Central Conference on Work Relating to Foreign Affairs in an in-depth way. He said, China and Morocco are good friends with mutual support, good partners of mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation, and good brothers with close affinity. The CPC is willing to work with the RNI to, under the guidance of the important consensus of the two heads of state, deepen exchanges and mutual learning, promote practical cooperation, promote people-to-people bonds, and push China-Morocco relations for new and greater development.   

Benomar said, under the care and guidance of Moroccan King Mohammed VI and President Xi Jinping, China-Morocco strategic partnership has entered a new stage of rapid development. The Moroccan side is willing to deepen exchanges and cooperation with the Chinese side in politics, economy, trade, investment, and people-to-people and cultural engagement, etc. The RNI is willing to maintain regular exchanges with the CPC, strengthen experience exchange in state governance and administration, and deepen cooperation between the two parties in youth, women and other fields, so as to better benefit the two countries and peoples.
