Beijing, April 11th—Zhao Shitong, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with Wolfgang Ischinger, former Chairman of the Munich Security Conference (MSC) and President of the MSC Foundation Council.  

Zhao said, this year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of China-Germany all-round strategic partnership. The Chinese side is willing to take this opportunity to deepen dialogue and communication between the two countries and strengthen mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation. The MSC is a world-renowned forum on security policy. The Chinese side will continue to discuss global security governance with the international community through this important platform.  

Ischinger said, Germany attaches importance to its relations with China. It is hoped that the two countries will continue to strengthen dialogue and exchanges, continuously enhance mutual trust and deepen communication and coordination on international and regional hotspot issues. Germany appreciates China's strong support for the MSC over the years, and sees China as an indispensable participant in the conference.
