Liu Jianchao Meets with Aleksandr Chervyakov, Belarusian Ambassador to China

Beijing, April 16th—Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with Aleksandr Chervyakov, Belarusian Ambassador to China.  


Liu said, in 2023, President Alexander Lukashenko visited China twice and reached important consensus with President Xi Jinping on the development of China-Belarus relations, fully demonstrating the comprehensive and strategic significance of China-Belarus all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership. The Chinese side is ready to work with the Belarusian side to well implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, deepen cooperation in economic and trade and other fields, firmly support each other's core interests, and jointly build a community with a shared future for mankind. The IDCPC is willing to deepen exchanges and cooperation with the major political parties of Belarus and push China-Belarus all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership for continuous and in-depth development.  

Chervyakov said, Belarus speaks highly of the great development achievements of the Chinese people under the leadership of the CPC, and supports the three major global initiatives and the Belt and Road Initiative proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping. The Belarusian side is willing to, together with the Chinese side,  strengthen high-level exchanges, deepen exchanges in areas such as political parties, legislatures, social organizations and youth, ensure the success of Belarus-China Industrial Park and other cooperation projects, and promote bilateral relations for continuous development.
