Beijing, April 23rd—Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with a delegation of the China-Venezuela Parliamentary Friendship Group of the National Assembly of Venezuela led by Maduro Guerra, Member of the National Assembly and Vice President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela.  

Chen spoke positively of the all-weather strategic partnership between China and Venezuela, expressing willingness to take the opportunity of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries to deepen exchanges and mutual learning between the ruling parties of the two countries and practical cooperation in various fields, so as to push bilateral relations to a new level.  

Maduro Guerra said, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela and the Venezuelan government attach great importance to developing relations with China, and are willing to strengthen inter-party exchanges and cooperation with China, learn from the CPC's experience in party building and state governance, and continuously enrich the connotation of bilateral relations.
