“Stories of CPC” Thematic Briefing on Xinjiang to Be Held in Urumqi

Beijing, February 22nd—Hu Zhaoming, Spokesperson of the International Department of the Central Committee of the CPC (IDCPC), announced that the “Stories of CPC” thematic briefing on Xinjiang, which was co-organized by the IDCPC and the CPC Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Regional Committee, will be held today in Urumqi. More than 300 foreign guests from nearly 200 foreign political parties, international institutions, social organizations, media and think tanks in more than 80 countries will participate in the event via videolink.

The “Stories of CPC” thematic briefings aim to introduce to the international community Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and its vivid practice and positive results throughout China. With the theme of “A Better Life for All”, the thematic briefing on Xinjiang will focus on protecting people’s health and safety, poverty alleviation, national unity and other topics, mainly brief on the CPC Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Regional Committee’s implementation of the CPC's policies on governing Xinjiang for the new era, and of the CPC Central Committee’s decisions and arrangements, as well as tell the real stories of the CPC Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Regional Committee in leading the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang to strive for a better life.
