Beijing, September 11th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, met here today on the morning with Zeynalli Akram, Azerbaijani Ambassador to China.

Qian spoke positively of the China-Azerbaijan relations and the two sides’ anti-epidemic cooperation, noting that the novel coronavirus epidemic cannot stop the step of the development of the relations between the two countries and the two Parties. He expressed that the CPC is willing to work with the New Azerbaijan Party to actively implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, further enhance communication and cooperation, promote the development of the bilateral relations through party-to-party channels, and promote cooperation in various areas.

Zeynalli noted that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to developing relations with China, and appreciated China for its support and assistance to Azerbaijan in fighting the epidemic. Azerbaijan is willing to work with China to continue to expand the fields of bilateral cooperation, and upgrade the level of the two countries’ cooperation. The Azerbaijani Embassy in China is willing to continue to play a positive role in deepening the exchanges between the two counties’ political parties, and make contributions to the constant development of Azerbaijan-China relations.
